The new hobby plotter from Silhouette is here. The device was first presented in Hawei in May 2020.
 The new plotter comes with a much higher cutting force - 3 mm material thickness - integrated roll holder & cross cutter.
 This makes it possible to cut a wide variety of materials, such as paper, iron-on foil, vinyl adhesive foil, fabrics, wood paper and much more.
 Since the silhouette has a cutting force of 5 kg, it can also cut thicker materials such as leather, foam rubber, felt and many more.
 Integrated cross cutter
 The cross cutter no longer has to be stored separately, because it is now also integrated in the SILHOUETTE CAMEO 4. This now simply cuts everything straight and clean after the plotting process.

 Automatic knife
 As with the SILHOUETTE CAMEO 3, the automatic knife also with the SILHOUETTE CAMEO 4 adopts the value set in the Silhouette Studio before each cutting process. No more adjusting the blade by hand - this saves time, which you can invest in new creative projects.
 Automatic tool recognition
 Thanks to small magnets on the tool, the SILHOEUTTE CAMEO 4 immediately recognizes which tool has been used. You do not have to select this manually in the software. The same applies to the supplied adapters.
 Two tool heads
 The SILHOUETTE CAMEO 4 has two tool heads!
 This enables you to carry out two different processes in one work step, for example you can draw and then cut in one process - without changing the tool!

 Print & Cut technology
 All Silhouette hobby plotters have a built-in optical sensor to read registration marks. You can create these registration marks in the Silhouette Studio and then print them out. The optical sensor finds the registration marks on your printed motif and the SILHOUETTE CAMEO cuts out the contours with razor sharpness. Create individual stickers, labels, textile transfer designs and much more.
 PixScan technology
 With the help of a camera or a scanner, PixScan technology enables you to cut contours around an already printed design or to place the desired cutting lines on your material. You can even use your smartphone or tablet for this. The PixScan algorithm enables the SILHOUETTE CAMEO 4 to recognize specially placed registration marks on the PixScan cutting mat and to precisely cut out your motif.

 The Silhouette Studio is the strongest and most powerful design software for hobby cutting systems on the market. This innovative software offers features normally only found in high-end design software.
